Another thing is to check if this happens with other games, which could mean it's the game itself being a problem.

Or lastly you can flash bios to unlock voltage, and then do a clean driver install.

Oh and very lastly, check what your computer power setting is set up on (on Windows 7, click start ---> search for "battery" ---> change power settings), and put it on performance/balanced if its on power saving.

Intel i7 960.

Downloading CPU-Z and GPU-Z now.

It happens to all games.

Battery is on balanced, and I have never changed anything to it.

Power should be on High for a desktop.

In addition, the 7970 Overclocking guide in my signature will show you how to unlock your 7970s for overclocking, voltage included.

Which driver version have you been using (if you announced in audio couldn't hear at work) ?

I don't want to downgrade because this driver increases performance for Crysis 3..

You should try to "downgrade" anyway. You never know if the older driver can fix your issue without giving the performance hit.

Be sure to have "Wait for vertical refresh" on off in drivers, it messed up a lot of my games. Theres just the drivers left then.
