Ok, a verbal update.... For now.... biggrin.gif

The fan controller and 280 will NOT, repeat, NOT fit in this build together!
I think I'll sell off the XT45 280, and get myself a UT60 140, do push-pull (instead of just push), and start like that... 'cause otherwise I'm buying a bloody pedestal, and I don't wanna do that yet... devil-smiley-019.gif

In too deep? Snorkle.gif

BTW, the little 57mL res is so CUTE! Haha...

Thanks - T

I was cussing last night hooking up the fan controller, mine was super tight but it ended up fitting. You could get a 120.2 drop in and do what I did. I'm curious to see what a 140 would look like though.

Yeah.... I can already see cursing in my future too. tongue.gif
I was thinking earlier: "OH YEAH! I'm done mounting the 240 rad in the flex bay and all that!"
HAH. BS, I forgot to cleanse the stupid thing, so now I have to un-mount ALLLLLLL of that crap and clean it with a 1:10 solution and then re-mount. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
Other fun thing is that I have the front fans sleeved in white - not to fit with my sleeving scheme - to "disappear" in the white-painted flex bay... But the tails of the two that come out the top rear of the flex bay are all white, and maybe there's a better way to route it to make that work...

Meh. I really want to keep this single stack for right now, and honestly, I don't mind the lesser radiator. I'm not going to be overclocking this a ton right now anyway (I will when I swap up to Haswell), and I feel like this will be plenty cool as this new setup will allow.

Thanks - T

NEW UPDATES!!!

So I got two more packages yesterday, one from the 'Egg via Ebay, one from FCPU.

I got several new items, detailed below!

Laying out the new fan shroud / vibration dampeners... tight fit, but I got them to work well!

Here's the stubby little reservoir that the P.O. was holding up, complete with my top installed!

And installed on the pump / block. I'm only wondering if that's enough liquid volume...

The new Prolimatech slim 140mm fan. 15mm thick!!!

...And installed... no thicker than the case's L-bend corner mandrels!

Alright, alright, I know everyone says Spectre Pros suck, but I'm going to try them, and if I can't get good results, Ebay gets them, and I'll spring for the Xigmateks that Mike (Sub) found!

...Sleeved in white...

...Which is great for making them disappear in the flex bay...

Tighter than I even imagined, frankly!

Oh holy crap! Look at the space I DON'T have for fittings! Yay! I have a wacko idea though!

And here's the second "I need an opinion" picture:
Fan controller or 280 radiator up top? Can't have both!!!

So tight. So firm. So fully packed.

I AM going ahead with the purchase of the 140 solo radiator, just in case, so I can move this along. Worse to worse, I don't OC until later!

That's it for now!
See ya'll later...

Thanks - T
