Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Answer....Shorter fan controller AND the 280 rad. biggrin.gif Didn't longroadtrip get an Aquaero up there with a 280 on top also? Can't remember.

That will be the aaskull.gif of my wallet, followed shortly by me...

The Aquaeros are, at their cheapest, $160 USD, so I'd have to REALLY want to do that... But they are small enough! I'm still looking too.

Thanks - T

Go with the Aquaero LT. It's only $75 bucks at FCPU, and does everything you need and more.

AQ5 LT is an excellent choice..could be mounted on the "shelf" above the drives and would be uber easy for cable management...I've got a 240 in the top with my AQ5...If you had a shorter controller, you could easily get the 240 up top...thumb.gif

Recon, Hydra pro, FC-5, Kaze Master II, etc...would all work also...thumb.gif

I don't see where that one has an exterior interface; maybe I'm missing it... I either need knobs or a screen, and screens = $$$, so that's why I'd stayed away from those types...
Maybe there's a bigger benefit to going with a software interface type?

Ahhh, but I have a 280 for my drop-in mount! blinksmiley.gif
I'm doing some more research as I have time. Unfortunately, due to work picking up and the raiding schedule tightening up in SWTOR, I have less and less right now!

Thanks - T

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I understand you have a 280...however in my build log you asked if I was using a 280 or a 240...I was answering that question and throwing my support behind putting a 240 up top as had been discussed earlier in the thread.. There is no fan controller you can fit in the top with a 280 rad that I am aware of. thumb.gif
