Doesn't mean I didn't spend a ton today...

Bought:

1. Silverstone SG-05BB 450 case w/ PSU
2. New Silverstone 140mm high speed fans
3. Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 (for baby box)
4. 3x Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 (copies of my current single card on this build)
5. 3x Swiftech 7970 Komodo waterblocks
6. ASRock Z87 OC FORMULA LGA1150 E-ATX mobo
7. Arctic Cooling Alpine 11-GT cooler (for baby box)

Like I said, too much money.

Thanks - T

Spending money is fun! Nice grabs! You can't take it with ya man, and you've earned the money, so I say enjoy it. As long as you take care of family first, everything else is gravy. smile.gif

Chances are I'll do this build in an MH10, E-ATX w/ Haswell, full WC, and then take my spares and build an HTPC seperately, since I already have the mITX crap anyway!

Thanks - T

Sounds like a sound plan!!!!

Like your choice of motherboards for the big build so I guess you decided for sure on the 1150 build!!! either way I think it is as much fun to plan and buy as it is to build and set up....

Yeah, I decided on Haswell, however I guess I should amend that list and say that I cancelled that order (mobo + proccessor) from the 'Egg and place another for THIS!!!

Bigger is better, right?

XL-ATX HERE I COME!!! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Yeah, I'm counting on only needing a stock cooler or one slightly larger... I think even AIO 120.1 water is out, huh?

I got the black one, I see you got the white! You motivated me to think outside the box and deviate from my original plan, and all of the sudden, $700 CL case soon to be ordered!!! tongue.gif

Thanks - T

Nice choice on m/B and CPu but I think if I was going to spend that I would have gone 2011 and had 6c/12t of power and still 4 GPU's if you wanted but to each their own...
Cool build! Also my 2011 setup could be compared to what you're planning to do with the MH10. I'm waiting for CL to finish putting together my MH10.

Subbed.

I've seen people fit a 120.1 cooler in the SG05. I didn't want to buy one because I'd never use it again. I don't care for the AIOs.

Yeah, I'ma get a 120mm blue LED fan w/ black body and call it a day on that part, since I have what, four aftermarket air coolers to pick from that will fit and 11 more that won't?

IT'S A CROP OF COOLERS. biggrin.gif

Thanks - T

I'd love to see someone try to fit a custom loop in it. Some 90 degree fittings on the water block would work. A DCC pump would probably fit fine with the 30mL bitspower res smile.gif
