Actually really leaning towards 2x 680 4gb in sli!

well that ofc will give you much more horsepower in the end, but atm, 780 will run anything smooth, get one in sli later on when the price is lower is a good option too thumb.gif

CPU: i7 3930k
Mobo: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme
PSU: Seasonic 860 Platinum
GFX Card: EVGA GTX 680 Classified
RAM: 32 GB of Gskill Sniper 1600 CAS 9
SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256gb
CPU Cooler: Noctua DH14 SE2011

All will be on dual 24" viewsonic monitors for the time being.

I think the next step will be a new monitor, thinking a Dell 30" 3007 used or something along that lines. Then will add on a second 680 and either some HDDs or an independent home server. That still is up in the air as it will be a tad to expensive to go that way.

But I am really excited! This rig will still mainly be used for EVE Online heavy multiboxing but will also be trying out some of the newer games like Bioshock Infinite hopefully on ULTRA! Never got to play a game on high or ultra settings really.

Simple version building a rig for EVE multiboxing (10+ clients) on a triple monitor setup of 24" LEDs that are capable of 1080p.

So after all of the advice of this thread I have ordered the following:
Intel i7 3930k
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Fractal Design XL R2

Plan on ordering:
3x Sapphire HD7950
Corsair 860i PSU
32GB DDR3 1600/1866 (Haven't decided) Leaning towards this
Samsung 840 256GB SSD / Crucial M4 256 GB (Haven't Decided)
WD Blue/Black 2TB
Corsair H100i Watercooling

Plan to do later on:
Custom watercooling loop for CPU and GFX Cards.

Looking to build a new PC as my intel 2 duo core based PC is a little dated!

Currently I am having a problem deciding between the 3770k and the 3930k. Mainly don't know if I should spend the money on the 3930k or not.

EDIT ** Will be using for EVE online and heavy multiboxing (8-10 clients +)

Essentially this is what I have been thinking about

3770k / 3930k
Asus Maxiumus V Extreme / Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Ripjaw 32gb 1600 (4x8)
Samsung 840 256 gb ssd
2 TB 7200RPM Caviar Black
3x EVGA 660 GTX
Corsair 1050W Gold Rated PSU
Corsair 800D (Probably too much $$) (** Really want 900D **)

It will be running on 2 24" LEDs for a week or so will get the 3rd fairly soon. But may move to a portrait/landscape/portrait combo later on but 3x 24" LEDs for the moment.

Feel like I am missing something but I gotta run to class so let me know what y'all think.

And I know it is most likely over budget at the moment as I put the 2000ish. Let me kinda explain that I have 2000 from my tax return in my hands but I can add more as needed over next couple of weeks.

Like I said in the edited original post.

But pretty excited!!

Also if anyone has a suggestion for anything please let me know. I am hoping to have the PSU and SSD here by Friday afternoon so I can go ahead and build it!
