Good Immersive Gaming headphones plus sound card.

What are some good immersive gaming headphones and what sound to get? I'm not going to be using these headphones for multiplayer just for games like starcraft 2, crysis 3, and dead space 3.

Creative Zx is on sale for $110 after a $40 promo card

What's your budget for headphones? Do you care if sound leaks out? Do you want isolation from room noise? Do you like a lot of bass?

That is a pretty freaking awesome deal. I personally think getting a used STX or titanium HD for that price would be better, but if you are a fan of having shiny new things, then that is a pretty great card for gaming.

$110 for the SB-Zx is a really good price, cheapest I've ever seen it.
And seems to be well like by it's users.

In general, those headphone should have worked plugged into the motherboard.
So the is a problem with the headphones or the motherboard.
Is the motherboard's on-board sound enabled in the bios?
Try updating to the latest audio drivers for your motherboard
Anything else you can plug the headphone into?

No I used the case front header. Like it would work but turn off, one side is only working, and these are brand new headphones.

Have you tried the back panel headphone/line-out jack?
