PLL does nothing at lower clocks. Ive tried many VCORE and PLL combinations and the temps were always the same no matter if i used 1.6V - 1.65V - 1.7V - 1.75V or 1.8V so you shouldnt really bother yourself about it.

Hey Guys, I bought a Asus P8Z77-V PRO and I have a question. The manual states that all fan headers are PWM controlled but other places state that olny the two CPU fan headers are PWM controlled. Which should I believe? The reason I ask is that I'm running Noctua NF-F12's which are PWM fans off of CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2. Could I hurt these fans by running them from the other headers?

Well , I am actually using my 2500k at 4.8ghz everydayt and if this PLL would help with something I would try 5.0ghz , or at least I would lower the temps because summer is near .

you can run it off one of the fan headers but isn't there two CPU fan headers with that board.?
