hey guys about a month ago i bought a p8z77 from ebay.
Unfortunately when it arrived it turned out to be a board from the asus CG8580.
My problem is the bios doesnt see to have advanced cpu control features.
anyone know if its the board or a problem with the bios?

here are some pictures

yes it looks like some of the options from a z77 ws are not in the bios you are showing, look on asus website for the most current bios for your board, if you allready have it your sol :/ ( i think mine is ver 3505)

p.s. Hope they freakin add some win 8.1 support to the drivers list !! :CC

I would just be happy if they got the Intel Management engine working correctly in 8.1

For me it takes away advanced properties -teaming- of the ethernet adapter also intel, might be the same thing :/ emailed support about it and they said "just keep checking the website for driver updates" :CC Really wish there was a company out there who kept their **** current im tempted to go with an intel board next time maybe not as feature rich but perhaps they will keep drivers updated ?

Great page for intel mei firmware and drivers : http://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html

cleaning the puter, have the board out and am seeing residue in what looks like the shape of electrical/magnetic fields, is worse around more active areas/components. Wondering if greasing the board will stop this ?
