hey guys about a month ago i bought a p8z77 from ebay.
Unfortunately when it arrived it turned out to be a board from the asus CG8580.
My problem is the bios doesnt see to have advanced cpu control features.

yes it looks like some of the options from a z77 ws are not in the bios you are showing, look on asus website for the most current bios for your board, if you allready have it your sol :/ ( i think mine is ver 3505)

p.s. Hope they freakin add some win 8.1 support to the drivers list !! :CC

I would just be happy if they got the Intel Management engine working correctly in 8.1

For me it takes away advanced properties -teaming- of the ethernet adapter also intel, might be the same thing :/ emailed support about it and they said "just keep checking the website for driver updates" :CC Really wish there was a company out there who kept their **** current im tempted to go with an intel board next time maybe not as feature rich but perhaps they will keep drivers updated ?

Great page for intel mei firmware and drivers : http://www.win-raid.com/t596f39-Intel-Management-Engine-Drivers-Firmware-amp-System-Tools.html

The same site has extensive guides and tools for updating bios modules and choosing the correct raid/ahci drivers to match your firmware

well i dont know a way to make sure what offset i must use in my oc, wich i will like to have 4.2 ~ 4.3 ... i had to update my bios to 14.** coz my Ares don't work well, system freezes when playing music and restart ... so. after i update the issue disappeared, now in breaking my head trying to have a offset that i will be happy an most important stable, all my test were stable, but temps were hig, one time i hit 101C in one core, and i don't like that, i got a "not bad" cooler, and my case is a CM elite 430 with 6 120mm fans correctly set for maximum cooling ... so if you are wiling to help me, you are welcome. thumb.gif
