OK I need some advice,

should I use the bios overclock feature, or should i use the EPU and TPU switches on the motherboard? I heard a review say that the bios program is better than flipping the switch or perhaps both, but when I tested either option I got about or exactly the same results!

Also, what if I use the bios overclock AND use the TPU and/or EPU switches? Will one override the other? I saw no info on this in the manual...of course..rolleyes.gif

just checked the status of my RMA and it states 'in process of repair' or something like that....
it seems my RMA is not in Cali but in Indiana somewhere which is closer for me anyways.
in the meantime I have this GA-Z77MX-D3H I bagged off eBay tomorrow for the test bench.
then when the Z77-M Pro gets in I'll do a build for a friend with the GA board..

How long has your board been there?

I had a horrible time with my advanced replacement RMA....I hope your experience is better! It probably will be though. Here's my thread on it: http://www.overclock.net/t/1352134/asus-rma-log-took-three-months/0_50

I could have pushed it further and I was going to but I just sold it on here to get money for i7 and to start another build. xD

It's a great series of a motherboard and has done very well especially when installed with an i5/i7 processor. It's a monster!

email from ASUS RMA, motherboard shipping back out today.

I've been playing with this GA-Z77MX and it's looks and feel cheap.
kinda picky on BLK clocking too.
ready for it to move on.
