help with ram qquestions please

hey all i have g,skill 4x8gb ddr3 2400 mhz trident x edition dual channel
with i3770k and maximus v formula
my question is where i can see how much ram speed ?
i enter bios and i have there ram speed option i did 2188 mhz but i dont see it at pc ;/
btw i just need overclock from bios from 1333 to what i wanna and that all? or i need up something else more?

and sorry for my bad english tongue.gif

You can see what speed your RAM is at in Windows by running CPU-Z.

Use CPU-Z, memory frequency will be displayed at the "memory" tab.
In case if it's not 1200MHz (DDR3-2400) - go to BIOS and set it to 2400, or load the XMP.

i dont need to see there ( at cpu z ) 2400 mhz? if i see 1200 mhz its mean its run at 2400mhz? didnt understend it tongue.gif :S

i see dram frequency - 933.4 mhz

DDR3 RAM works at double its base rate. If your DRAM frequency is at 933.4 MHz, that means that it's effectively running at 1866.8 MHz.
