(CNN)Judge Lucy Koh slashes jury award in Apple v. Samsung case from $1.03 billion to $599 million - Page 4

iPhone and Galaxy are both great phones

Which one is more b!tchy is the more obvious question in picking a phone, which in this case the award goes to Apple.
Also the fact which phone most of your friends are using.. they all use an Android so it'd make sense to buy a Galaxy.
You can't customize an iPhone as much as you can customize a Galaxy, and plus, bigger screen is an obvious win.
Galaxy is the better phone.

Yea, and if you look at the F700 pic posted above, you'll notice that the iPhone home screen looks suspiciously like the F700 home screen. (i.e. grid layout, etc.)

The only downfall to Apple products are their consumers. Apple laughs at everyone when they push a product as the best, when it's clearly not. Their software is what makes their devices, not the hardware. The fact that they can (mostly) have a great product is that they design their OS around their hardware. It works great and they sell mediocre tech at a premium price. Multiple manufacturers make android devices and Google produces an OS that has to accommodate differing technologies, then the manufacturers are expected to "fix" conflicts between hardware and software, which doesn't always work. Any Android user will tell you that the Nexus devices are always the best running ones because Google works directly with the manufacturer to develop the product for their OS. All this in turn gives end users a choice, superior tech (Android)vs.(Apple) smoother system. Pick your poison, I'm a tech guy.

The biggest issue I have though is the commercials from apple that are like "Apple Corp.: Look at this new technology that we just invented that no other phone has ever had and will never have wink.gifwink.gif. Android guy: Uh I had that two phones ago that is old news." I love my Ipad don't get me wrong but everytime I see a new looky over here (smoke and mirrors are stage left.) it makes me want to pull my hair out(what little I have left).

It isn't for me that it is a bad product because yes the majority of the time say 98% Iproducts just work and they work flawlessly. However they will never be able to up the technological aspect as much as Android because of the user base. If you see a CEO with an Iphone it isn't because they usually know how the thing works, it's because the IT guys new that he couldn't break unless he dropped it. We know that when it comes down to it, it is much easier to manage and keep our users safe because they won't fuss about it not being an Iphone and they won't try to root it or unlock it in any way. Less time working on them means more hours working on the things that are actually important to the whole company.

What it comes down to, like what was said above me, is that it really is a mediocre product with good software. Also , when you only have to develop for one hardware it really becomes efficient.
