Trying to overclock i7 920 help

Thread Starter
Trying to overclock my i7 920 but it always goes unstable in Prime95 -BSOD's(mainly124;01).
Used many voltage configs but couldn't find stable,
Right now i'm recovered to defaults and added 21x mult.:

used setting from this guide http://www.overclock.net/t/538439/guide-to-overclocking-the-core-i7-920-or-930-to-4-0ghz
failed to boot
my goal to overclock to 3.8Ghz.
maybe somebody have same rig or similar to it and can help me with settings?

First fill in your computer specs

Second fill this out ( this might be different than your motherboard so just delete what you don't have)

once you have this, it will make it very easy to help you

so like i said when i oc'ed to 3.8Ghz with specs from this guide i got BSOD'S(124/01) but it was stable temp(~75C - 100% load)in prime and guide says that 124/01 errors - vcore or qpi/vtt so i played with these settings(increased vcore or decreased qpi or both) but failed to find stable specs so i turned vcore and qpi to auto and had no problem in prime except for temp was ~95C-100%load.

Some of the voltages I put on there are on the high side for 3.8 Ghz. Leave the RAM on auto and you can lower your timing when your cpu is stable. If these setting make your cpu stable, then you can start lowering qpi/vtt and vcore

your ram might not handle 181 x 8 = 1448 mhz
you migh need to run 2:6 memory frequency 181 x 6 =1086 Mhz
I igoogled your ram and all i see is 1333mhz ram with cas 9. i dont see the 8-8-8-22. show me a link
