It's not all that big and the only thing it keeps airflow from reaching is the side panel. wink.gif

Curious, ever have a Lian Li?

Thanks but step 1 is always going to the manufacturers listed retail vendors

Unfortunately not one of those websites on that list has the item

I put together a water cooling tube and inserted some plastic to make it the right height, i also made supports on the top and bottom, i will take a picture later and show you guys for good laughs

thanks for all the suggestions!

i went ahead with zip ties, used some old small ones i had, they are tied from the metal piece near the heatpipes which reaches out to hold the plastic cover, on the outside it is near the fan but nothing is touching

i did not have a hole directly above the case so the line is a bit angled, its almost perfect so i wont complain

Second hand, yes. Nice build quality, bur entirely impractical (at least if you aren't modding) and overpriced.

As for blocking the side panel... where do you think GPU airflow comes from on most modern cases?

Pretty much wherever you place the intake fan wink.gif

My Gigabyte 7970 pretty much was sagging straight out of the box. It actually looks like the whole card is warped. I used some fishing line to level it out but it looks like it is putting some pressure on my pci slot.

I've always used fairly short video cards (8800 GTS, GTX 560) until tomorrow when I get my 7970.
Never knew sagging was such a big problem.. makes me wonder why enthusiast cases dont include some sort of solution.

Without problems, they can't sell us solutions smile.gif

Mine only sagged half a centimeter, but I don't like the idea of constant offset pressure on a slot in which if poop hits the fan, the motherboard manufacturer wont do RMA claiming i physically damaged the board.

Regardless if i tell them i bought a video card made by them and thats what a 30cm card did to it smile.gif

Good luck with your card! Get some zip ties or a fishing line and you should be good to go

Haha true. and yea it'd worry me too...

I should be fine though, my case has a 90degree rotated motherboard, so its hanging vertically by the metal PCI bracket.
