The 2 chips are definitley ES chips, they say INTEL CONFIDENTIAL and all that, their part number does match the OEM part number of HH80557PH0564M. I got the previous link wrong. Try this link.
Seems a bit strange still, I was expecting two Retail e6600s without the box or fan. How do I know if these chips are new? or had some crazy overvolted, over heated overclock performed on them. They look new enough, bit of a heatsink scuff but I've seen that on new boxed retail chips before.
Anyway, any idea which one I should keep if any?
QLLR ES MALAY or QJNC ES A4?
QLLR is B0 Stepping and QJNC's stepping I haven't found out yet. No unlocked multi? So is there any advantage of an ES chip over a retail? Or is this a genuine OEM?
