Seriously? Unless you're running The Witcher 2 with ubersampling or Metro/Crysis 3 at max everything settings, you don't need two 670's for 1920 x 1080 resolution. That is, unless the OP wants to run his games at constant 80 FPS, but seriously, you must be trolling right? Or maybe he wants to be extra future-proof. In that case, he might as well get two Titans.

That's good to know seeing as I will be upgrading to three for my Nvidia Surround setup.

surround 5760x1080 is one thing, 1920x1080 is another.

With your budget, you couldgget an XSPC Raystorm EX+D5 kit and with another $30 on top of that, get an EK FC-670 DCU block. The kit contains literally everything needed for a CPU loop, but the GPU block will need to be purchased separately.

I would think that you will be able to run 4.5-4.8Ghz easily on your CPU (depending on the luck of the draw), and 1250-1350 on the core and 6850-7500 on the memory for the 670.
Best part is your GPU will likely never exceed 48-52C fully loaded!

I may do this. I haven't looked into haswell can someone get me up to speed? compatibility?

Haswell comes with a new socket (1150) but previous 1155 cooling solutions should remain 100% compatible.

I beg to differ on this. I have GTX 670 SLI for 1080p and it makes the world of difference, especially with 120hz monitors. Minimum FPS are so much higher with SLI and i've had no issues with micro stutter or anything like that. I'd recommend it personally. I get 100FPS+ in most games.

Not everyone runs a 120hz monitor

Depends as it should be a cheap upgrade for all.

Sell your 3570K/Extreme4 for 300 and pickup a 4670K/Z87 Extreme4 for 400.

If the rumor's are true it'll clock a good 10% better then ivy while providing a 10% IPC gain.
