Set it to 100%...whenever an apps needs cpu it takes it anyways lol
thats just my thought lol My cpu neve run any less than 100% unless I am gaming and even then most of the games still tax it lol

I Set 50%..Simply as i have a Dual core..Perhaps you should also.

I've tried everything from as low as 5% and up and no matter what gaming with F@H running is a no go til I get my 165 and even then I dont know about that...otherwise with it at 100% I see no visible performance impact for everything but gaming... only other difference I notice is as I start doing other things that my completion time usually jumps radically until I leave it alone for awhile again....then it drops back down to within 20mins to an hour of what it was before I started any activity...

You have gotta let me know how many units you can crank out with that thing... I want mine so bad lol stoopid monarch....

BTW: Enterprise with the dual core is it better to run both cores at 50% and still have some of that double core left or just leave one core running 100% and run the second core like I currently do with this 3200??

Not sure if AMDs are different here, but I set both my dual core's to 100%. Even though the CPU itself contains 2 cores, each client sees each core as a seperate CPU...therefore, setting it to 50% on each client means it is only using half of each core's potential.........

dotcom, the best thing to do is set it for "idle" cycles, and 100%. This will let the folding client use all of the CPUs power to work the WU, but whenever you need the CPU to do something, it will automatically scale back the folding so you don't experience any lag in your programs.

I leave my systems running 24/7, but I don't recommend that unless you have good cooling and are sure the system is rock stable (8 hour testing is not good enough for a 24/7 folding system.)
