i5-3570k has an average I would say, of 4.4GHz. All processors are different, you can try but it really just matters on the processor. The older first set of 3570k's would hit it closer than a newer 3570k but it doesn't mean anything really changed from then to now. If you really want to get your closest to the 5ghz mark you can look into delidding your processor and also maybe even lap it. It would help but nothing is definite.

If you had an Asus motherboard I could help you with ease but you have an AsRock so you should go here and ask these peeps.

I didn't know how to OC either but I followed an Asus guide and after a few tries and messing around in Bios, I got use to it and the terms plus where things were at. I could try to help you but I rather you first as on that guide then if you can't still figure it out, I will research it for you and help you do it. xD Just PM if you get can't get help from the guide. thumb.gif
