Need help choosing cards!

Thread Starter
Ok so i currently have an XFX 7850 1gb Used alongside a 3570k @ 4.4ghz, 12gb RAM and a 750w Novatech Powerstation Gaming PSU.

It serves me very well at 1080p but im looking for more power so i can truly max things out for years to come.

My problem is deciding how to go about this.

Here ae my following options..

1. Get another 1gb 7850 and Crossfire

But will the 1gb Memory be enough?

2. Get another 2gb and crossfire then replace my 1gb XFX card with another 2gb later to bring the memory back up

Can you even crossfire a 1gb and 2gb Card?

3. Buy a 7950 and sell the 7850

The 7950 would be slower than the two 7850's crossfired and will cost me more money, but its a single card set up and will create less headache, it also has the 3gb of VRAM.

What do you guys think? =S

definitely get a 7950, crossfire is just one big headache, and you will regret doing it.

i do you know can crossfire a 7850 with a 7870 however im not so sure about ones with different amounts of vram. i dont see why this wouldnt work though.
