HP dv6 HD4650 goes up to 100C on full load! Laptop cooler will help?

Hey guys !

I bought a second hand laptop few weeks ago and noticed when on full load (games) the HD4650 goes up to 100C
I replaced the thermal paste to MX4 but still, temps are very high.

I only see high temps on the graphic card. the CPU is working fine.

Was about to buy a laptop cooler but wanted advice if it will actually help?

Some ideal temps:
CPU (T6600) - 55C
GPU (HD4650) - 65C

My cooler options are:
Thermaltake Massive23 LX LapTop Cooler
Thermaltake LifeCool Laptop Cooler
CoolerMaster NotePal X-Slim

Or i can order the CoolerMaster U2 from ebay, which will take about 2-3 weeks to get here.

An update guys.

I just got the CoolerMaster U2.
My laptop is running Guild Wars 2 for 30 min now
Temps do not pass 83C
I'm very satisfied with the results.

Thanks for your advice!

Does your laptop have a gpu fan, and if so is it fuller operational? is the heasink clogged with dust?

personally i would go with the cooler master but nzxt do a nice one too (NZXT Cryo E40)

No, there is only one small fan which is attached to the heatsink that cool both CPU and GPU.
The fan is barely doing anything and it suppose to cool both of them.

Which coolermaster you refer to?
