as others said, no

however i enjoy each game for their own different reasons but c3 is by far my favorite.

Crysis Warhead was Crytek's last true all-round great game. While the graphics improved with Crysis 3, I feel that the core game design has been downhill since Warhead... especially the multiplayer, which has been content to chase after the COD design philosophy after Crysis Wars.

A large majority of the real loyal following Crytek had with their franchise left with Crysis 2.[/quote]

You nailed it! That's exactly how i feel as well, Crysis Warhead was pretty good, and Psycho was "the man" in that game! C2 and 3 barely made any reference to "Nomad and Helena"

Crytek really lost their mind by killing Nomad in the comic book lol. It seems like they wanted better graphics instead of storu and gameplay...gameplay>graphics for me!

*sigh* i kinda tire of hearing everyone reffer to crysis as COD,
personaly i kinda preffer the later games playstyle over the first. open world isnt really my thing..
besides in my opinion, crysis 1 wasnt really what i consider a true sandbox game. They still had a linear storyline, just a really really big area to follow it in. Somthing like farcry 2 was what i consider true sandbox (not trying to say its better in any way, i preffer all the crysis games over FC2, never played fc1 or 3)

just my opinion.
alot of wasted space in crysis 1
