ssd slow speed according to benchmark

Thread Starter
So ive installed my new ssd(Samsung 840 [not pro]) with windows 7 and all my programs aswell as deleting the c drive from my hdd and using the space for a backup of the ssd. I also followed seans ssd guide on this site to fiddle with little things like the gui.
The last thing i did was a benchmark with the included software and it came out with 220mbps read 200 write

Its supposed to be upto 540 read so why isnt it saying 450 or 500ish? Is it the test being inaccurate or is my ssd genuinely slow
