The chips detailed by the company are the Core i7-4700MQ, the Core i7-4800MQ, the Core i7-4900MQ and the Core i7-4930MX. The first chip, the i7-4700MQ, is a 47W TDP part featuring four 22nm Haswell cores believed to be running at 2.6GHZ with the capacity to hit 3.6GHz in Turbo Boost conditions and 6MB of L3 cache. The i7-4800MQ, meanwhile, jumps up to 2.7GHz or 3.7GHz under Turbo Boost conditions, but does not appear to include the increased 8MB cache of its last-generation i7-3840QM predecessor with 6MB appearing on the company's spec sheet.

I bet the 780M is a rebadge of the 680MX (which is a downclocked desktop 680) that never made it into gaming laptops.

That is slightly thicker than my 1 year old Sager with a 6990m... which is too thick IMO. rolleyes.gif

When you have an i7 that is faster than the 3770k clocked @4.4GHZ and a GPU that is as fast as a 660ti overclocked (Sometimes dual GPUs) then i dont think its that thick wink.gif

yeah.. honestly if you want a thin laptop get a netbook or ultra book.. if you want a gaming laptop, deal with it.

chances are you arent bringing it to school and the park and in your car and to work and (etc etc etc)
if i had a gaming laptop it would likely be for mobility in my own home or to bring to a friends house (most the time a gaming laptop would be plugged in anyways)

honestly for the amount of power behind the device displayed, i think the size is rather fine thumb.gif
