I'm looking into getting a laptop for college and I cannot seem to find one that meets my needs. Does anyone here know a suitable gaming ultrabook? I want it to be as fast as possible but I want it sleek and thin as possible as well. You're asking for something that probably doesn't exist, unless your library of games is mostly stuff 3 years or older. Even i7 ultrabook processors are still only dual cores, with less cache, and your turbo-boost of 3ghz is only going to last until the processor starts to heat up, then it'll throttle itself back until it finds a happy medium between speed and temperature.
There's a few options out there, but Vizio seems to pay more attention to performance over form and function than the other guys right now. With how the market for *books flips, I'm probably out of date though, not having read anything in the last week. Here's an old review from December
