Fractal design core 1000 with some new core mods and some water cooling

Farctal Design Core 1.5K

Finaliy decided to go with built case and lay on hands on trying to get mine designed case done. Finding case was a bit a pain, because i wanted and SLE's Compact splash ( oh man i wish for one on christmas), i wanted and caselabs itx case they decided to produce ( that was funny because shipping plus case costs was like lower by 100-140 usd than whole my pc parts i had biggrin.gif ). So after some numerous rewievs on various cases, on planning my budget and lots of other stuff i decided to get Fractal Design core 1000. Found two really good threads here about them and how guys modded this case ( also they kinda inspired me).
My plans actualy is to make it usable for air cooling and also for water cooling. I want to fit in front a 240mm rad and other things like cylindric res, maybe sleeved cables( put a hell of time and work on this case? ). Also i have in mind to use that nasty looking hdd mount bar but put in near motherboard tray because it fits there and actualy you can make some more nicier cable management ( lol imagine this case has almost no space on that side where is a front i/o ports for even slight cable routing), im planning add some more holes also for a sata ports and other things. Also lightning of whole case. Yeah that is the thing i still cant decide, i have some cable pieces from fiber optic cables ( yeah managed to get a nice plan on fibre optical internet and get some wires and stuff biggrin.gif ) to have something like hidden led strip behind modo and some light in res using a small piece of that cable smile.gif.
Also im open to suggestions on mods and maybe some help or tips smile.gif So thank you for your attention and ill try to mod it as soon as i get some spare time ( weekend hurry up). Also was playing a bit so here;s the first pics of it. Oh also a hardware im gonna use:
CPU: AMD A8 5600k
MOBO: MSI FM2 A75IA E53
RAM: Kingston hyperx predator
HDD's SSD's: i have now pair of 2.5" hdd's and a 32 gig ssd, gonna try to get an ssd but with a bigger capacity
VGA CARD: still not decided on what to get, kinda want a something like gtx 670 but its not for me as my paycheck is small, leaning now on 7777 ghz edition maybe.
COOLONG:
I have a EK HF Supreme acetal ( wanna get a clear acrylic top but cant find any)
Swiftech (MCP 350)
XSPC acrylic reservoir top for ddc/mcp pump
Barbed fittings for a 1/2 inch tubing but they gonna be replaced with 3/8 ID 1/2 OD compression ones
Coolant i am using is a distilled water plus mayhems biocide
Oh and almost forgot radiator. Im using EK 240mm 48mm thick rad

Pics time? ( yeah they was done with phone so no high res artistic stuff cuz my camera ran off from me)

And how it looks now on my acrylic scratch build testbench biggrin.gif

Started on marking places where to cut. Did a marking on front for a 240mm rad, also for hdd plate on new spot, some small tweaks on motherboard pannel for small cables to route them and maybe going to do a window smile.gif Pics coming as soon as i do first cuts

So today took from the jog a metal cutting scissors ( for sheet metal) and did some cuts for a 5.25 bay and also on rad spot, needs sanding and a lot of it but gonna use my dremel step brother. Also as i took too much plastic from front pannel im going to add a acrylic pannel behind mesh and paint it in black to match all things smile.gif
Pics:) ( yeah they was done with phone camera)
