Thanks much. Painting the frame was a PITA. Taking it apart myself, prepping it, having someone powder coat it, and then re-rivet it myself would have been way easier than spray paint.

Also, the GPU/H80 Water Block/PSU is vinyl wrapped and not painted wink.gif. All of it is completely removable and maintains the warranty.

Smart man! Did you make the vinyl yourself, or could you maybe let me know where you picked it up?

Also, yeah, although it seems like a ***** of a job, I might go the same route as you with this old case I've got a spare system in (the powdercoating, or spraypainting if I'm feeling brave). Here's the chassis: http://www.overclock.net/lists/display/view/id/5039622 - I feel like it might look cool with a matte black finish on the inside, and some vinyl black wrapping on the components.

I just got a few feet of vinyl off of Amazon. It really doesn't take much, was like $20 or so with shipping max?

As for painting the case, In either scenario if you want the absolute best job, de-rivet it. My biggest issue with spray is that it chips or compresses and then chips quite easily. But I don't know anything about spray paint either biggrin.gif.
