It only wants to be at Auto, when I try changing it, it won't boot up computer and gets stuck at a Black Screen, than later on it says Overclocking failed. But if I don't change my V-Core won't I continue to get blue screen of death when gaming?

What voltage were you trying to set it to?

I think 1.0600, because I know the last time I tried to set it at 1.5000 something messed up. Maybe I'm getting the numbers wrong all together? All I know is online I see people list 1.52-1.54, but that doesn't give me an option like that on my voltage.

That seems really low. It's possible that's the cause as to why your computer wont boot up, give it some more volts. Try putting it at 1.3 -1.35.
What clocks are you trying to achieve?

I honestly don't know what I'm changing, I just copy off what I see online which might not be the smartest thing to do. biggrin.gif

I want to be at 4ghz.

Is this right or should I do it different way?

BUS: 250
MULTI: 16.0x
Core: 4000mhz
NBFREQ=2000mhz
Vcore= ? Don't know

Doesn't Amd Phenom II x4 965 3.4ghz actually have an overclocking supported Software? Or do you not recommend using that Software whatever it's called, and do everything in the Bios? The Bios is confusing to me.

It is possible to overclock through software, but it's recommended that you learn to do it through the bios as you get a better understanding of what your doing. I have the 965 chip as well and it's running at 4 GHz. Ill give you what is working for me, but keep in mind this may not work for you.

Multi - 17 X
FSB - 230(could be wrong cant remember exactly )
CPU/NB - 2800
HT- 2000
CPU Vcore - 1.425

These settings are what i can run at 4ghz and be stable with, I can fold all day and it stays rock solid. Just make sure not to go over 1.55V as it's not good for the cpu.

Solid board. Here's some very useful information.

Auto voltage is bad.
