FX 6300 Overclock Help

Thread Starter
I'm trying to overclock my FX 6300 (Vishera) and don't want to mess up/fry my CPU or motherboard. so do i just raise the multiplier? i don't know if i need to increase my Voltages. Pretty new to overclocking, i'm trying to hit 4.0GHz. I have a ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 Motherboard. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Welcome to OCN smile.gif

It'd help if you listed the rest of your specs.

Go into your profile and use the rigbuilder option.
