new build having issues

i just put together my new toy started to overclock when i run into a issue i run AMD Overdrives Benchmark and im getting low scores on my memory these are my scores.

Integer Computation- 18080
Floating Point Computation- 16940
Memory speed- 3099
Cache Speed- 16207
Total- 5431

Now this is my hardware
MOBO- M5A99FX pro R2.0
CPU- Phenom 2 x4 965
RAM- Corsair Vengeance 2x8 1600 Mhz
PSU- OCZ ZX serries 1000w
GPU- EVGA 9800 GTX+

now them scores were on stock speeds but them were the same scores i was gettin with my DDR2 and old MOBO something isnt right here i know the Overdrive benchmark aint that good but im having dificulties finding one that take direct x 10 because my GPU is outa date any ideas???

There is not much difference between DDR2 vs. DDR3.

OK so its normal to get them kinda scores with the overdrive benchmark? Just seemed low to me but I'm no expert...

That is right. I Bench PCMark05 and I get about the same score on memory between DDR2 1066 vs DDR3 1333/1600/1866/2000.

What would be a good oc for my CPU I'm shooting for 4.6 but maybe my hopes are a little high
