After disabling on-board audio in the bios, computer audio might default to HDMI.
As the motherboard has built in video, disable that too, use the graphics card.
If you go into control panel, into the "Sound" section, to the Payback tab, it will show you the default audio device.
If HDMI is the default device, it should have a white checkmark in a green circle to shows it's the default device.
If not default, high light the (graphics card's) HDMI and give a right click for a pulldown menu, and left click on "Set as default".
I would set all audio and games to 2-channel audio (not surround sound), as your audio is coming from the 42" TV.
Not sure if there are any setting on the graphics card control panel that might need to be changed, I'm guessing(?) no.
