You're paying to test/own the game.

Right now, the game is in the Alpha/Beta stages, so you're actually buying the game now -- Being asked to TEST THE GAME -- Then when it releases in Q3, you get a copy of the game at what you paid for, now...

So you're pre-ordering with the understanding that you're doing their testing, basically for them...and you pay less.

It's actually a cool idea...

Normally for an Alpha/Beta you test the game as a volunteer then pay retail OR you're given the game for free (Not the case unless you're typically F/F).

Your answer is yes, basically.

You guys, the game is amazing. The Engine really uses your hardware to it's fullest. Tips I can give is DON'T Press G and to choose an option it's Enter or Mouse wheel click. Not left Click. thumb.gif

Whaaaaa

20-30 FPS with a couple of GTX 680s!?

Is SLI enabled for this alpha?

The Extra £15 for the digital thingy edition for a few bonus pictures and that and ArmA: CWA really is not worth it to me,

Hopefully we can have fun times again like BEFORE everyone played it for Dayz, AI is possibly the best in a game (At least based on ArmA 2's)

How does it look amazing?, the guy has shadows disabled, and definitely has some other settings turned down...

In fact it doesn't look all that different from Arma 2.

Definitely NOT impressed with the graphics. Far cry 3 or Crysis 3 looks miles better.
