This game is a BETA. Meaning you're playing it in it's Alpha stages. Meaning, it's not ready yet and isn't going to be "ready/optimized" until Q3, 2013.

Said this earlier.

You're buying a game that's going to be released in Q3 and testing it for them in the interim.

THIS IS NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT.

P.S. he's doing Arma 3 giveaways, like right now

I'll watch again later today.

I didn't look all that great when I was watching that's for sure.

Surely my 2500k isn't that bad.

Wow that sucks.

We've yet to see Arma 3 mentioned in a driver release though (for both AMD and NVIDIA), am I right?

You are right, it is an unfinished product, and you have said it before. We get it.

I think it runs and looks great. Far better than ARMA 2 did at launch.

It won't be until the game really gets into it's beta stages...I'd say we should expect a driver by May/June.

According to Steam, the Alpha Lite invites won't be available to pass out until March 14th. It's on the Steam store page for Arma 3. I wasn't sure at first either; I was hoping to give them out now and play with a few friends. Oh well.

Game took around 1800MB of VRAM at those settings but GPU usage was varying between 40% and 85%, very much playable fps though.

Now this is what I'm talking about, those shots are absolutely breathtaking.

I'm thinking very serious about picking this up.
