Custom Liquid Cooling Loop - Page 3

Ok so for starters, awesome block, a lot of us love it. Keep in mind when you get it, the acrylic block mount IS going to bend when you're screwing it into the back plate, and it's also going to be hard, so let it bend and don't think you're doing something wrong. Just make sure the nuts below thumb screw that you turn with your finger is all the, and don't freak out when you see it bending haha.

resevoir..well...whatever you want really. Resevoir is a resevoir. You can get the normal cylinder ones that you mount in your case, you can get one that fits in your 5.25 bay , or you can get fancy with a frozenq

Before you go buying a gpu block, make sure the PCB is a reference board, otherwise it might not fit and you'll have to buy a universal block.

The best waterblocks are from Watercool, the heatkiller is almost always undefeated.

Next is Aquacomputer which are made in Germany, their water channels are amazing.

if you want it nickle plated

As for radiators. What case do you have and how do you want to set up the loop, this is the big important part. Do you want 1 extra thick as hell 360 radiator to cool everything at once? Do you want a 360 rad for the gpus and a single 120 rad for the cpu? 240 for the cpu 360 for gpu?

Forgive . I don't want to start another topic so this looked like a good place to sneak in my own question . Whats the best meanwell power supply to use with RD 30 pump . I going to use it in a 2 loop system . Running threw 2 King flow meters . Using my 50watt per channel Fan controller on the input side of the meanwell power supply to controll the pumps speed. I was thinking a 50watt meanwell powersupply should do the job. SP-50 . Is this enough wattage for this pump . I won't run the pump at 24v I was thinking 18v = about 30 watts would give me 21/2 GPM flow at about 5 psi

<3 Switch 810 is what I have, it's AWESOME.

That rez is fine, the guy that runs FrozenQ is pretty cool too. If you have problems with it, he'll get it fixed.

You're water cooling both video cards and your cpu right?

The best block out there is the koolance 380

MCP355 or the MCP655 are good pumps. The MCP655 is quieter than the MCP355.
The Mcp355 is a better pump because of head pressure.

I hope you are kidding. I will admit it has poor airflow but you are over exaggerating it. My GPU temps when i was running 2 cards in SLi only went up maybe 4-5C with the panel closed in an extremely high ambient temp room. Plus if he is watercooling then it will not matter. There are better watercooling cases but very few in its price range IMO. Plus if you cut on it a tad there are tons of options. Look at previous builds by people like wermad that modded the hell out of theirs. There is always the 900D too thumb.gif.

The 800D does have poor airflow and it will matter if you are water cooling. This is why airflow is important on a case using water or air. If you cant get fresh air in the case how are you going to cool the water properly?
