Classic Question: 2 sticks or 4?

Thread Starter
Found out the RAM I had on my Newegg wishlist is out of stock today, so as a backup plan started scouting out sticks and I came across this question in my mind. 2 seems to leave upgrade room and is cheaper, so I wondered if there was a benefit I may have missed to having 4 sticks at half the capacity. What do you guys think? smile.gif

I know of zero benefits for using 4 sticks over 2 sticks.
In general, 2 sticks seem to offer better stability over 4 sticks and seem to work better for overclocking.
