fan setup regarding the swiftech h2o-x20 help

I recently purchased this kit basically because I wanted to try out some of swiftechs products. let me start out by saying I plugged in one of the fans included with the kit and it broke right away. one other thing I do not understand is the fan orientation in the instructions, it is basically saying to have the airflow push down into the system instead of out. well at least thats what it looks like to me. even when you look at pictures of the kit the fans do not seem to be mounted right. am I wrong here whats the deal, I just want to make sure everything is working correct.

As for the fan orientation, intake is much better for your water temp, which will affect your CPU temp eventually. If you set it as intake, your case temp will go up a bit but that won't matter for your CPU cooling. If you have graphics card with non-blowing fan, then you'd better set the radiator fans exhaust because you don't want your case temp to go up too much.
