any particular reason why you're looking at those?

I'd choose Evga FTW's

OR

get some Shappire 7970's

EDIT: can you give us the details to the rest of your system?

CPU:3770K

MB: ASUS P8Z77-V PRO

HD: Samsung 830 Pro SSD

Monitor: 27" Asus 1920x1080

The reason I'm looking at looking at the Asus and the Gigabyte was because of their better cooling with quieter fans. The 4GB was because I plan to upgrade to a 2560x1440 monitor at some point. Maybe towards the end of the year.

If I was going with water cooling I would probably go EVGA hands down since I'd be taking the shrouds off anyway and I heard their warranty is amazing!

I did look at the 7970 Ghz editions but a lot of reviews seemed to show the 680 winning out by a small margin in frame rates.

Thoughts?

Thanks!
