Is it possible to paint a case inside all in one day and installed all things back in?

Hello!
So I have been wanting to get a HAF X to move up from my HAF 932 but the fact is...I am mostly doing it because it is black inside.
I am not in love with the side panel on the HAF X because I have 4 x 120mm Zalman fans on my 932 and it kind of gives a see thru look so I can still see pretty lights inside biggrin.gif
The HAF X has a bigger window area but I hate that all it shows is the drive bays for the most part which really..I dont want to look at that biggrin.gif
So, I have been thinking on two things....get my 932 painted if there is so way to do it all in a day cause I cannot be without my pc.
Or get the HAF X and just keep the 932 side panel which seems to fit fine anyway.

So if possible to paint all quickly that would be my first choice....I am not looking for a show room job, just black point so the metallic look does not look so out of place.

Thanks

I did this with my first case but you would want to make sure to put a laquer over the paint or it will flake away (primer might prevent this... But I used anodizing paint so it was supposed to go on bare metal)... To paint mine I just sprayed it and put it in front of a space heater

No I wouldn't rush it.  You're not giving any time for the paint to dry and cure.

Either do it right or not do it at all and save the time, trouble and expense that would be better served elsewhere IMHO.

Perhaps it's best you just get a HAF X as it's a nicer case anyway and the HAF 932 panel IS compatible with the HAF X case as you've seen.

You can either sell off the HAF 932 or use it for a backup rig.

I say take a step back and analyze the whole thing.

i painted quite a bit.. the biggest problem is that the color needs time to dry. plus when you paint,
you should do it with more levels of paint. that means. prepare the rig, paint, wait 30-45min, paint, wait,
paint wait again, paint clear paint/dye (no color, its like with car paintings, the whole process^^ )
wait again and one last time with clear dye/paint. sry my english is pretty bad atm

after that it will stink and smell very hard like the dya/color and it will need at least 12 hours to
dry .. but i´d say at least 20hours and after that it will stink slightly for some time.

preparing the rig will cost also about some hours.. maybe 3-6.. depends on what u like to do

clean from dust, sandpaper, clean with alkohol or something, wait, primer, color, color, color, clear color, clear color> wait
hope this helps a bit

Looks like my choices are keep what I have or get HAF X and keep the 932 side door then.
Sounds good guys...just wanted to know if it was possible but it seems I will end up with a crappy job if I rush it.
