Need help installing SSD!

I just got a corsair p3-128 and i have enabled the ahci mode before i installed windows,the 128 is my main drive, i have a x58a-ud3r gigabyte motherboard and my write/read speeds are really low, i have TRIM enabled.Could some one please help me fix this.

Is it plugged into the Intel port or a 3rd party controller?

Plugged into intel port.

i have no idea. i never have don't things like this, i pretty much just installed the ssd re-installed windows onto it in ahci mode.I read that you have to unplugg other drives when you install windows? if so then i did not do so, i left my 2 other drives plugged in

Blue port right?Try bench in "safe mode without anything".

I have about 25 SSD's in use and never had problems running in Mobo default IDE mode and the speeds are as specified according to tests...

Try IDE or default/AUTO mode... see if that helps... (and yes, TRIM works fine in IDE mode....)

See if this sata driver makes it better: www.station-drivers.com/telechargement/intel/sata/intel_rst_11.7.1.1001(www.station-drivers.com).exe
