First, I had to replace the blade on my band saw...then cut the inner panel that will seal off above the dual 140 rad and test fit it...
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Then, drilled out the bracket and both 1/2" tubing pass-thru holes for the black and red tubing, and usedc rubber washers to secure the acrylic panel. I'll use my painted washers and screws for final assembly as well as clear silicone to seal it off so the dual 140 rad draws air from the front instead of pulling air (and dust) from around the bay devices up top.

I then got to sleeving what I could until my sleeving/pin removal tool arrives with my late shipment. Got the maelstrom wiring that would show, as well as the power switch line sleeved.

Worked on the Zalman fan controller today as well, considering that I was supposed to get a black one, I cut a new face plate from the Blue one and drilled it out today... Then installed it to the PCB and set it in the case to see how she looked... although she does need polished up don't look too bad for a amateur...lol
Intel(R) IPP JPEG encoder 7.0.1041 - Jul 19 2011;

And now it's time to get as much prepped for tomorrow as possible, hoping that by 11A.M. I will have the late shipment containing my black 3M carbon, sleeving tool, poweradjust 2 USB and faceplate, NZXT USB hub, rad mounting universal brackets, dual 140 striped aluminum grille, 480 x 480 UV red transparent acrylic, rubber edging for the acrylic, both bridge blocks, memory sinks for the gpu's, and my second swiftech 82 universal gpu block. I'll have more pictures as soon as I get my goodies guys and will hopefully complete the mission by Sunday night!!!

I did get the triple Black Ice mounted up top, and still don't know what I'm going to do with these spectre fans after I cvhanged my mind on some design ideas...??!! Guess y'all will just have to tune in next week and see...!!

Looking good thumb.gif

Thanks, KingChris! I wish that I had your talent and eye for modding, though I must admit... If I could transfer my knowledge and experience from Machine maintenance-Welding-Troubleshooting to Computer modding and building then maybe I could reside in your zip code..so to speak lol. That "the dual" system that you're doing is in a class of it's own! I have noticed since I saw yours that there is a couple huge cases that are on the market to install 2 complete systems into...lol maybe they stole the idea from ya! This one is kinda cool, but weird looking in it's design though... more like for a big system and a tiny one for 'net surfing...

Sorry about the links, KingChris, but I couldn't help showing ya this one in case you (and any other computer afficianados lol) this one -- I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT....

Thanks man, ive only done a couple of mods, The Dual was only a micky take of a mate on the size of the case, but i looked and went....'UMM'

The CFI case got me a thinking of modding!!!!! DAM YOU AND YOUR LINKS!!! lol.
But it dont fit 2 full size.. i wounder 3 pc's!

On a note you posted on my build, if your going to use it for gaming 8gb of ram and the mhz for a gaming rig will smash it even with sli, however if you chose to do a lot of rendering or video editing the you may need to up the size, but only if thats going to be its main usage, for just a normal gaming editing surfing pc 8gb is more then enough, just install 64bit software.

thumb.gif Thanks bud, and hopefully my next few posts will blow y'all away and tell the tale... of how either dumb or over the top that I am...lol. I have been dealing with the USPS on a 30.00 order that is really killing my progress as I need that product to do the next 10 steps that come after... so I just ordered it again from the same supplier and had it overnighted with a reputable shipper---AND have been prepping all that I can to make the final assembly a bit smoother! My 2 youngest son's are as excited as I am to get the "fish tank in the box" lol.

Testing the "look" of things, and deciding what I want and don't want in the final ass'y...lol. Not sure how stuff looks together until it's there. Not sure if my "custom" lol faceplate on the Zalman fan controller is up to snuff, or if I should make another one...??? Took 2 dam&%$ hours to put the measly poweradjust 2 usb together today... good thing my son has small fingers and dexterity as I don't read German! 2 different sizes of standoffs, a 3rd set of 4 standoffs that are female @ both ends, and 2 different sizes of allen bolts(the bit sizes not the thread or head sizes) makes that unit a 9 outta 10 on the pain-in-the-rear scale...

Although it looks like it, I'm NOT watercooling the 120mm fan lol, the tubes are just hangin out.
Bolted the hard drive cage there from the front, and am going to encase it in red transparent UV acrylic for coolness..

Finally got a big shipment in and made progress on the side panel and getting the mini-quarium tubing sealed up.... I'll have much more to post and pics tomorrow, maybe my old butt is finally hitting my stride!

I will be installing the UV glass that's peeking outta the old grille sppot tomorra, as the grille helped me to decide how to proceed when the flimsy tabs started breaking off way too easily. I've still got all this crap to install, and this is AFTER I cleaned up some of it...lol I also paid a pretty penny for this Phobya dual 140mm rad grille and I had to make it work as the bolt holes were totally incorrect...???
