No, this is what I meant:
When I was thinking about the fact that people are saying a 7970 is better than a GTX 680 for some things, I began thinking that maybe a GTX 670 could be (or might be) a downgrade from the 7850. However, now I understand where I went wrong in my logic: it's the 7950 that would be better than the GTX 670, not the 7850. I'm not saying that the 7950 is better than the GTX 670; I'm just saying that when I said "7850", I think that I was thinking of the 7950.
So, I was using fail logic like this: if the 7970 is better than the GTX 680, then the 7850 must be better than the GTX 670. I was completely forgetting about the gap between the 7970 and 7850.
Again though: I'm not making any statements about the video cards and how I think they might compare to each other (keyword: "might"). I'm just explaining what I said.
