Yes, yes i am, thanks biggrin.gif

Its not low sens, everybody else just uses far too high *grumbles*

Everyone saying how friction is necessary for mouse movement, have you ever used an ultra-low friction setup?

When my mousepad (artisan shiden kai) and mouse feet were brand new, a finger push would move the mouse across most of the pad. There was essentially no friction, and it was amazing! There was way more accuracy with small mouse movements.

Hands and fingers are more than capable of working fine with no friction feedback. Many crafts involving fine motor skills don't have any friction involved.

I'm not saying this mouse looks usable (it doesn't).

Yes. And my aim was horrible. Navigating through my desktop with high DPI (my usual setting, 2400-3200) was completely impossible, I constantly missed the window boxes and the icons.

Result: It was a pain.

Not sure I want a magnet sitting anywhere near my monitor or speakers. Is this even safe for your other hardware to be around?

Absolutely nothing in your life has no friction. You live in a gas atmosphere. Your body parts are connected. even if you were naked and in freefall, you would still be under the force of friction - from several different sources at any given time.

Your mouse, regardless of mouse feet, age, or mouse pad has never had "essentially no friction". Even the best brand new PTFE feet on the lightest mouse with an aluminum mouse pad would still have enough friction to give tactile feedback and absorb minor hand movements.

I'm sorry, but you really have no idea what you're talking about.
