How to quiet this thing down

So I'd like to quiet down my signature rig.

Atm its really loud and I think thats because my case is very open , I've a Xigmatek Midard for reference.

I have a true but again I'm just using one of the stock Xigmatek fans with it and in general my PC is hellish loud. I don't think its my GPU though because its relatively quiet unless the fan is above 35% upwards.

What case / cooling options would you recommend for my system? I'm also considering moving over to a M-itx build with a prodigy when Haswel launches but I may just go for full atx again.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Is it vibration? or simple airflow that is giving most of the decibels? What kind of cooler is on your CPU? What kind of fans do you have? Is there any vibration coming from any of the fans?

Place rubber stoppers with the fans that are getting vibration
Replace fans with quieter and more efficient ones.
Implement a water cooling solution (only if you want to, and got the cash to do it)

I'm just using the stock cooler atm. I was also running a True for a few days there but didn't have a decent fan on it and it was very very loud.
Doesn't seem to be any vibration just noise from the fans frown.gif

I've got a fan controller on the 2 stock fans that came with the case but Ive got it turned down nice and low so there barely audiable.

Any recommendations for a nice quiet case?

I like your suggestion about watercooling, does seem like a good idea
