Exactly what I feel about it. It just looks like silk stapled to her head and it's just flailing around like insane. Could be good tech, just not for this game.

They should be apologizing for what they call that game bundle.

I started a new news thread on the full graphics only in windowed mode issue. Whether a Steam Community post counts as a news source and whether the post stays in the news section is another matter. tongue.gif Regardless, I figure it will help more players out as its own thread.

GTX 580= Fermi, not Kepler

But the 580 performs worse than a 680......so we can lay to rest that Direct Compute is to blame. In fact, a 580 loses to a 660 ti...... SO which is it? Direct compute issue? or a horribly unoptimized issue for now?
Not to mention, Direct Compute isn't an issue for Keplar as much as some of you nincompoops make it out to be...

I thought it was an OpenCL issue?

As far as DirectCompute, the GTX 670/GTx 680 perform worse than HD7870

http://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.php/reviews/hardware/vgacards/21859-xxl-test-nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan.html?start=16

It's likely an issue with QA on the developer side anyhow

I posted the fix early this morning in 4 different TR threads. Seems like no one cares these days unless it has it's own dedicated thread which is why we have a dozen TR threads on the go.mad.gif

Forums, eh? The threads are moving so quickly about inconsequential things (as well as devolving into AMD vs Nvidia wars rolleyes.gif) that I never even saw any of your posts about it. Which means the same probably for a lot of other people. Ah well, forumites gonna be forumites. Hopefully a few people see it, but ewww, windowed mode. Best to wait for a patch.

Nvidia is leaving a really bad taste in my mouth.

They are acting like their crap dont stink.

Even if it may be a problem with the dev code, you dont just blame them outright. You simply state that it will get resolved.

No professionalism. Reminds me of some dbags i work with that only work to cover their a$$ and/or cc the top management with every little mistake anybody makes.
