A graphics card isn't a food or a cigarette or whatever. You can't just simply "not like" it.

It's likely an issue with QA on the developer side anyhow

the hardwareluxx link shows NV cards doing more than fine.

No professionalism. Reminds me of some dbags i work with that only work to cover their a$$ and/or cc the top management with every little mistake anybody makes.

The devs crapped in their mouth. It's only right they point the finger where it's due.

I cant not like a line of cards that almost always start with driver issues? even if they get fixed later no one can deny ATI cards struggle at launch. Far be it from me to want my cards to actually WORK when i drop hundreds of dollars on them.

Because it is, I don't know, older tech?

The compute just does the physical modelling of the hair, it still has to be rendered, shaded, cast shadows etc. The bottleneck is in a different place, be it calculating or rendering, but it is still there.

So far everyone who has argued with me has an AMD card in there current build hmm thats curios tongue.gif but really though i go where the Power and stability is at launch and that was a 680 over a 7970 at the time it seems the tables have turned however and thats fine im just saying AMD fans dont go forgetting how this started and Rip Nvidia just because it sounds hypocritical

Thanks. Thankfully the borderless window program works for me. So it's at least playable now.

Lol. That attitude is probably why the dev crapped on them.

Nvidia probably tried to bust a "voltage lock" scenario on the dev. Maybe something to do with tressfx.

You know the dbags at work i was talking about earlier? Guess what happens when they are on the receiving end? Yeah, they get code that was changed a day before their presentation.

That could backfire really bad other devs see this and start to spend less time optimizing their games for nvidia cards compared to amd ones. Maybe thats why more games lately have been amd gaming evolved might be tired of the bs that nv putss out and hassle they have to go thru.

That's only going to bite those devs in the rear, and no other developers have done this and NVidia has pretty good developer relations. They were obviously quite pissed off about this, since it looks bad on them, even though CD are to blame.

Shipping a faulty product is not something developers want to do.
