specs rarely speak of performance unless you're talking about the same brand. i have a 24/7 O.C of 4.7ghz on ud3h with i7 3770k and a corsair H80 cooling it @ 82.c on load after 3 hour stress test... im not a fan boy of any brand i just get the best item i can justify spending $$ on but this is the 3rd mobo from gigabyte and they've never let me suffer like asus boards have or even skipped a beat. so as far as reliability goes GIGABYTE z77-ud3h is as tuff as they get. i don't use the sound card as i have inbuilt DACs in my speakers and how many hdd do you have that you need the extra sata also gigabyte support this board like a boss with bios updates. they might not have bells and whistles but i rather quality over any amount of quantity.
