I set out to build or mod a PSU to suit the 2-> 24v Pabst fans I had laying here, to use on my BIX2 rad.

Here is a couple shots of the initial setup.->

First , the rig before....Attachment 36519

the goods.....cheapo 450w {ya frikin right} psu from a P3 build, ages ago and........... 2 Pabst 18-24v fans, I jacked from some Nortel TDMA Cellular Equip.Attachment 36520

Red wire to the black, for constant PSU on.*Note the blue -24v wire on the left side....thats our new ground lead to the fans. I cut a +12v lead {Yellow} off of one of the molex connections and tracked it back to the board, it is the new "+" lead for the fan circuit.Attachment 36521

A closer look....Attachment 36522

Starting to come together now....I left all of the other wires tied up in a bundle and hid them back inside the PSU case, making sure there was enough clearence for the PSU fan.

Yes I could have, but I wanted something that looked cleaner. Now there are no wires visible.

Note to self.....Don't forget to tell the kids not to stick their fingers in the two black spinny things on top of the box.
