Not any more. I used to love KMail, but these days I'm finding Evolution is a little saner to use (there's no a whole lot between the two though)

sorry should of said, I use mint 14 cinnamon on my old laptop using guake and my desktop is kde

Is yakuake the same?

Yakuake is the original. Guake is basically a copy of Yakuake but designed for GTK desktops. If you're running KDE, then you're probably better off with Yakuake as it will tie in with Konsole and the other KDElibs.
