I'd say wait for haswell. See how it actually turns out. Plus with the new product on the market it hopefully will push prices of the 3770k and the 3820 down so you can save some $$$ thumb.gif

I say get the 3770K and Z77 board now, use them until Novemember then sell both if you like the Haswell reviews. Get Z87 & Haswell during Black Friday sales. This way you avoid jumping on Haswell early so you don't have to deal with the new product price premium(espically motherboards tends to be more expensive at launch than few month later), early Bios & some motherboard manufactures would hold back their premium products a few month anyway.

We don't really get many black friday deals over here in the UK but this is a nice idea.

Might just get a quiet case, and an AIO cooler in the mean time

I say wait for haswell. Go look at the thread i posted in the intel cpu section. New batch of Ivy's hitting 5.6Ghz on air. IMO this is Haswell production tweaks and protocol's trickling down to ivy.

I doubt it. I'm thinking 5.2-5.3ghz max on air safely
