only for adding knowledge ,Does speed degrade the chip? or that Adds TDP¿?

Nobody runs that high 24/7. While high clocking sandy chips can be stabilized, they wouldn't live very long under load with any normal cooling.
I don't even really stress test good chips, my 2600k above has still never seen a 60° cpu temp.

I would like to see a validation just to confirm it isn't a bug above, the vcore is just so low.
Like this bugged screen i got last week (easy to spot with the impossible bclk though)

3 min of prime on water with fans @ 80%. Fans at full speed only drop temps 3 to 4 c at most.

This is kind of what I mean: http://valid.canardpc.com/2637784
In reality the voltage was much higher but when I ran the validation only ~1 core was being used so the voltage did not go up high only the speed. It was around ~1.56v.
That's what I meant when I said I could get the screen shot as well.

update with my 3570K chip, still want a 2700K or 3770K but I'm no longer complaining about high voltages.
not worth swapping it for another 3570K either but who knows with me..

I had to go back and adjust the voltage again, now I max voltage out @ 4.4GHz around 1.336v.
this is gaming voltage as benching voltage seems top be a little lower by 0.005v.
my temps thus far are stellar as case temp shows 23C, CPU package idle is 31C w/ lowest core 24C;
playing Bioshock Inf. and Crysis 3 I max'd @ 67C package and hottest core and I'm on a $40 or so CPU cooling solution.
seems that A.B,C rating of the CPU's is right on with it's predictions and mines a B..

I can live with that but it's just so puzzling.

I'm down to your kind of temps now at 4.5GHz 1.325V after delidding thumb.gif Better thermal paste could give me another 5-10°C temp drop.

I'm using MX-4 on the die and IHS right now, but I do intend to get some Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra at some point smile.gif
