On the other hand how far is Haswell from plaguing the market?
Where did you get yours from?

I bought it from local (my country), TLM-610. I didn't buy it from outside like Ebay or New Egg etc ^_^
As far as I read about Haswell is that they are Ocing like crazy and needs very less Vcore, I don't now if this true but I read 5GHz can be done with 1.000 Volt and 6GHz with 1.21 Volt. Eventhough the performance is not quite big in terms of clock-to-clock with Ivy Bridge. So some say "skip" it and wait for next-gen.

My new 3570k overclocks pretty well. Using a 212 with vortexes.

I have had mine running at 5.0. It took 1.45v to do it, temps were safe, but still higher than I like. I didn't see the need to keep it there, so I run at 4.8 at 1.30. I probably don't even need 4.8, but then I cant brag thumbsupsmiley.png.

I will say that at 4.4 Ghz on IBT it's pulling 1.18v, I tried forcing it to do 1.2v+ and it just BSODs. So, I think I've found the limit to this particular 3570k after trying to push it on two different boards.

What is the error code number of your BSOD?

There seems to be news contradicting your statement here:- http://www.overclock.net/t/1392098/haswell-is-dissapointing

I think their performance is quite the same, according to TLM-610 post #439 but still Haswell will have afew advantage than Ivy, I think. If not, why bother Intel made it? smile.gif

Performance clock to clock is quite the same, I guess smile.gif but I said before : Haswell Overclocking is really great, there is no Ivy Bridge OC 5GHz under 1.20 Volt as far as I can see (but maybe there is).
I forgot about the link, sorry mate ^_^ it just damn nice chip if Haswell really can OC like that.

Main trouble is, it seems they will be 10C hotter than ivy making temps your major draw back even on the longevity of the chip while attempting to reach good respectable clocks. The Chinese site shows it at 90C when overclocked to 4.5Ghz which isn't as good as ivy where many are getting as low as 60C on that same clock. It is actually not so worth the wait with that in mind.
