What exactly causes Unigine Scores to keep getting lower?

Thread Starter
I'm running an XFX 7970 Ghz Ed. @1130 with a 3570k @ 4.2Ghz

Whenever I run Unigine 3 or 4 my scores get lower and lower each lap. I woke up this morning and ran Unigine 3 and finished with a score of 2117, I ran the same bench a few hours later and got 1980, once more for 18XX. Sometimes I'd even hit an all time low of 1700

I'm on the 13.2b7 catalyst but that doesn't matter anyway because this was happening for months now. What causes this huge decline? the temps on the card is around the low 60's.

Weirdly enough, restarting the PC causes the score to shoot back up to 2100's, then a few more hours later the scores will drop. This pattern makes me feel as though the GPU gets "tired"? Thoughts?

Does this happen to anyone else? And why does it happen at all?

I have had an issue where in one time a restart gave me a bit better score, but for the most part my scores are consistent.
